Theses

Overview

The chair deals with the realisation of autonomous systems using methods of artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The chair's activities focus on the following areas:

  • Quantum Computing, Quantum Annealing, Quantum Machine Learning
  • Autonomous Systems using Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Artificial Neural Networks
  • Aritificial Intelligence for Applied Health and Nutritional Sciences

If you are interested in writing a thesis, please consider the curated list of Available Thesis Topics below first and familiarize yourself with the research areas and advertised topics of our scientific staff members. Then use the form below to send an enquiry. In general, you should allow some time (several weeks) to find a topic!

Deadlines and Dates

Starting October 1, 2025, stricter regulations regarding the registration and submission of final theses will apply. The exact regulations can be found on this website. Please also plan sufficient time (~1–2 months) for selecting a topic and familiarizing yourself with the subject area.

Further Information & Material

Further information on finding a topic and the general realization of theses can be found in the current information sheet on theses at the Chair of Mobile and Distributed Systems. You can also use the checklist for final theses as a guide.
