(09/25) We are currently looking for motivated students with systems background and strong programming skills (e.g. C/C++, Rust, Zig) interested in research assistant positions (aka HiWi position) in the following areas:
- Implementation & evaluation of memory-optimized B-trees
- GPU-accelerated OLAP processing
- Exploitation of novel storage & memory hardware for data processing (e.g. CXL, NVMe SSDs, FDP, HBM, etc.)
- Raster Data Processing through Relational DBMSs
If you are interested in any of those topics, please contact Prof. Paradies
