The lecture will cover a selection of advanced topics from the area of concurrent and parallel computing, such as:
- Memory consistency models
- C++ atomic types and operations
- Synchronization algorithms (barriers, locks)
- Concurrent objects
- Lock-freedom and wait-freedom
