Detection and localization of leaks in water networks
Description
In collaboration with Stadtwerke München, the Chair of Mobile and Distributed Systems carried out the ErLoWa project – detection and localization of leaks in water networks. Structure-borne sound microphones on water pipes record noise data, which is then used to automatically detect and locate leaks in the water network with the help of artificial intelligence methods.
