Research Associate (m/f/d) in the field of quantum computing

Open position

Job description

Quantum computing is the next technological leap in computer science. While physicists and engineers are developing the hardware, the software for quantum computers is a challenge and a crucial factor for success. As a renowned elite university, Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich has founded the QAR Lab as a spearhead in this field. Within the scope of various projects, we develop algorithms and platforms as the decisive innovations that will ensure that quantum computers meet the high expectations placed on them. Our approach is practice-oriented: we have access to several existing QC systems, such as those from IBM, Fujitsu, D-Wave Systems, and IonQ. We want to put the quantum advantage into practice! We are looking for applicants (m/f/d) who are equally passionate about quantum computing and want to contribute to the future of computer science. To set up the QAR Lab, we are looking to fill several full-time positions for research assistants who are enthusiastic about making this project a success. We are looking for several research assistants who are passionate about quantum computing and want to support us in making our numerous quantum computing projects a success.
