I have been a Ph.D. candidate at the Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at LMU Munich since November 2021. Prior to that, I received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2017 and an M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2020.

Research Focus

My research focuses on building trustworthy and reliable AI, combining rigorous theoretical analysis with practical implementation across domains including language models, computer vision, and predictive maintenance. At its core, my work addresses uncertainty in machine learning, with a particular emphasis on the conformal prediction framework.

Projects and Funding

I am currently working on a project funded by the Klaus Tschira Stiftung on uncertainty-aware and physics-informed machine learning for short-range atmospheric forecasting. Previously, I was involved in a DFG-funded project exploring machine learning and uncertainty quantification techniques for Remaining Useful Lifetime estimation.
