The Summer School on Imprecise Probabilities, took place in Munich from 27 to 31 July 2026. was organized by our Chair (AIML) at the Institute of Informatics together with AG Augustin at the Department of Statistics.
We are happy to share a glimpse of the successful Summer School on Imprecise Probabilities, which took place in Munich from 27 to 31 July 2026.
It was organized by the Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Institute of Informatics together with AG Augustin at the Department of Statistics.
Over five days our lecturers took participants from the foundations of imprecise probability through philosophy, decision making, statistics and machine learning, closing with a hands-on session.
Many thanks to Erik Quaeghebeur, Arthur Van Camp, Catrin Campbell-Moore, Christoph Jansen, Georg Schollmeyer, Ryan Martin, Eyke Hüllermeier, Yusuf Sale, Julian Rodemann and Siu Lun Chau. And thanks to Timo Löhr, Clemens Damke and Maximilian Muschalik for preparing and running the hands-on part, where participants could put the methods of the week directly into practice.
